The studio begins with clay and a little room to experiment. A form is shaped, set aside, returned to. Some ideas happen quickly; others need time.

We work with the material rather than asking it to disappear. Slight differences in a rim, a glaze or a silhouette remain part of the finished object.

The result is a family of pieces that belong together without being exactly alike.
